Lord Combermere

Sybell Corbet

It is believed to be the ghost of Lord Combermere who was a British cavalry officer in the early 1800’s. He died in 1891 after being struck and killed by a horse-drawn carriage. Taken by Sybell Corbett at Combermere Abbey in Cheshire, England, this photo was of a library room. A man seen sitting in a chair was identified by a relative as Lord Combermere, who had died in an accident five days earlier.
