Pfister Hotel

Since its opening in 1893, the hotel’s founder, Charles Pfister, wanted to make
sure that guests enjoyed their stay in his establishment a task he still
performs to this day. Guests have seen a portly, older, well-dressed gentlemen
smiling while surveying the lobby from the grand staircase. Once the guests saw
a portrait of the hotel’s founder, they swore it was the same man.
